Sunday 3 September was a brilliant Finals Day at the club. Spectators were treated to some really good tennis played under the baking sunshine. The Britain Cup was won by Retford 1 scoring 80 games against Brigg 2 who scored 71 (including handicaps). The Holmes Cup was won by Lea Park 1 who scored 84 games against Saxilby 1 who scored 77 ( including handicaps).
Presentations were also made to the league winners, Div 1 – Retford 1, Div 2 – Brigg 2, Div 3- Lea Park and Div 4 – Brigg 3.
Sadly no cups for Gainsborough, but full marks and praise to the Gainsborough ladies for an amazing buffet and pimms on the day
