The Mansfield Tournament (named after Len Mansfield) is the longest established tournament on the Gainsborough schedule. Twenty players competed for the trophies on Sunday 4 August 2024 with the rain holding off in the afternoon, fortunately. There was some good tennis and a friendly atmosphere with a tie for first place in the men’s section, between Juan Girones Fraile (Gainsborough) and Eddie Worrell (Lea Park). The ladies winner was Diane Betts.
